ECOUSTIMAC Products use the revolutionary cellulose based insulation which is the green alternative to conventional fiberglass or foam building insulation products. Why we chose cellulose recycled insulation vs cotton insulation? The answer is simple. There is just a lot more paper waste being dumped every day than cotton waste. Millions of tons of paper trash hits the landfills everyday and this is our way to help in the clean-up efforts.

Eco-Friendly Features:

  • Made from renewable and recycled fibers, majority of which is post-consumer recycled newspapers
  • Zero waste in the manufacturing process
  • A greener manufacturing process reduces energy use and air pollution during manufacturing
  • Environmentally responsible - entirely recyclable

An even greener alternative to cotton insulation:

Cotton insulation works as well as its fiberglass counterparts, however this material can be prone to mold and is not as biodegradable and recyclable as cellulose which is made from recycled newspapers and cardboard products.

Better Performance than Fiberglass!

Oh yes, it’s true! This cellulose based insulation has even higher absorption coefficients than our standard insulation material, so not only is it more eco-friendly, it also outperforms its fiberglass and mineral wool counterparts hands down.

ECOUSTIMAC products use Cellulose insulation for its acoustical panels, and are a very GREEN solution for acoustical materials.

Eco-Friendly Features:

• Made from renewable and recycled fibers, majority of which is post-consumer recycled newspapers
• Zero waste in the manufacturing process
• A greener manufacturing process reduces energy use and air pollution during manufacturing
• Environmentally responsible - entirely recyclable

More about Ecoustimac recycled Cellulose insulation:

In today’s marketplace, many products claim some or all of these properties, but few actually achieve them. Our Cellulose insulation is green, sustainable, and responsible, while providing superior performance and real value in a wide variety of applications. For over 60 years, our manufacturer Nu-Wool has been converting recycled cellulose fibers into premium building insulation that is superior to fiberglass insulation in both thermal and acoustical performance.

Our Premium Cellulose Insulation gives our product a performance edge over fiberglass materials. Factor in the green components of recycled and renewable fibers, low embodied energy, no-scrap production, and product recyclability, and Ecoustimac’s products are the new standard in the marketplace. The open design and density of Écoustimacs panels increase the sound absorption and achieve high Noise Reduction Coefficient ratings effectively outperforming even the best of fiberglass products.

Technical and Safety Features:

• Meets building code requirements
• Controls and deadens sound due to density of cellulose fibers and non-woven manufacturing process
• Reduces airborne sound transmission from room to room and blocks outdoor noise for a noticeable quietness
