Cropping and Spanning:
Acoustimac Custom Art Panels offer virtually unlimited aesthetic possibilities. Using a four-color pigment dye process, we can replicate virtually any graphic or design in bright vivid and lasting color on our sturdy bond-white DMD fabric. Once wrapped over our world class acoustic panels, you have a fully functioning high performance acoustic panel, which is also a functioning work of art!
Graphics, Cityscapes, abstract art, even your own corporate logo and color scheme. You can also take advantage of our in-house graphic design team for a truly proffessional look.
Custom Art Span Setup Instructions
1. Download the template for this span pack size (right-click, save-as): JPG
2. Edit the template in your favorite commercial image editor (photoshop, paint-shop pro, corel photo paint) or open-source freeware image editor (GIMP, Paint.net)
3. Paste or insert desired image into the open template.
4. Transform, crop or trim image to fit within the template's guide lines. The red guides illustrate areas that are repeated from one panel space into another in order for the image to wrap properly on your panel edges so the image looks more seamless when the panels are placed side by side.
5. Save your composition in your editor's native layered format.
6. Flatten (merge all layers) of your composition then save your composition as a JPEG with the quality set to maximum. DO NOT RESCALE THE IMAGE OR CHANGE THE OUTPUT RESOLUTION. The template is already set to the preferred size.
7. Upload your image by clicking the browse button in the product options. If you have already purchased the panel product but were unable to upload the image at the time, you can use the backup artwork uploader (click to open).
Once your artwork is uploaded, our graphic design team will review your submitted file and send it to the production dept if it meets all needed criteria, if it does not, they will notify you via the email address on your acoustimac.com account or the email address provided on checkout.
Want to span an image over more than three panels?
You can span an image over as many panels as you want, just as long as the source image's resolution is large enough to fit them all properly. For this you will need to contact our graphic design dept and purchase Graphic Design Service time.
